ADMISSION NOTIFICATION FOR KEA- 2018-19 PARA MEDICAL COURSES
Online Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for admission to the following Para
Medical Courses in Govt. Medical Colleges, District Hospitals and also Govt. quota seats in Private
Para Medical Colleges for the academic year 2018-19.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: (1) For all the above courses should pass in II PUC or equivalent
examination with Science Subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Botany/Zoology) or PMB
Diploma. (2) A pass in S.S.L.C./ X - Standard/Equivalent Examination. (3) For Medical Records
Technology, a pass in II PUC or Equivalent examination with any Subjects
(Science/Commerce/Arts), PMB Diploma or pass in S.S.L.C. or equivalent examination. (4)
Applicants should have studied at least 7 years in Karnataka, from 1st standard to 10th standard
or PUC. A copy of Study Certificate shall be furnished along with the application. No candidate
will be allowed for counseling without study certificate and other Original certificates.
DURATION OF THE COURSE:1) Two (2) years + 6 month internship for PUC & PMB Diploma candidates
2) Three (3) years + 6 month internship for SSLC candidates
AGE LIMIT: Maximum is 35 years in general and OBC; for SC/ST and in-service candidates upper age
limit is 40 years.

(www.kea.kar.nic.in)
APPLICATION FEE: For General Category Rs.250/- SC/ST/Category-I Rs.50/-
LAST DATE FOR SUBMITTING THE APPLICATION: The Last date for filling the On-line application is
Date: 10.08.2018 Offline applications are not
entertained.
SELECTIONS: Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Merit-cum-category wise.
Counseling dates & Place will be notified later
Note: while submitting application candidates are not to upload any documents, but at
the time of verification all the original documents should be carried by the
candidates.
